WE DON'T WANT TO LOOK SKINNY. WE WANT TO LOOK STRONG FIT AND HEALTHY!

 

Stacey Kohl is the founder of Chic Physique Personal Training Studio and Co-op. The concept came to her after realizing that some clients want more privacy and do not wish to join a gym. Stacey is a certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).


She is also a certified Woman's Fitness Specialist and studying for her Corrective Exercise Training certification. Stacey's focus is women over 40, but trains all ages. Her goal is to correct muscle imbalances in athletes that use repetitive movements and people coming back from injuries. After an assessment Stacey will create a customized plan that is personal to each client's needs and goals. 


Stacey is a lifelong resident of Jacksonville and has lived in Julington Creek Plantation for 20 plus years. She is married and has 3 children. She realized after having her last child at the age of 42 and being 100 lbs. over weight that something drastic needed to be done to get healthy. Discovering weightlifting, working out with a trainer and healthy eating has changed her life and  she wants to help others achieve their goals

She got certified in different formats and started her career as a Group Fitness Instructor in Dallas, TX, and studied Sports and Exercise Science in Pittsburgh. Rasha loves to travel, read, laugh, run, workout, help others reach their goals and engage in outdoor activities with her family. What you may not know about Rasha: had a bad car accident 25 years ago and was told will NEVER be able to walk again due to sever pelvis , knee and collar bone injuries. That's why she doesn't believe in impossibilities. To her, "where there's a will, there's ALWAYS a way".

Amanda has more than 10 years of first-hand, professional experience in personal training. She has an accomplished knowledge of results-oriented weight loss and management after losing 75 pounds and maintaining that loss for more than 10 years. Her expertise in the gym is focused on weight training, functional fitness and using nutrition to enhance muscular adaptation and hypertrophy. She is also dedicated to creating customized workout plans that focus on her clients goals, proper progression and results. “It’s my honor to help someone achieve their best vision of themselves. I love seeing a client's confidence grow with every workout we complete. My belief is simple -- fitness has no age limit, and there are modifications for any fitness level. If you fuel your body with healthy foods, move every day, drink plenty of water and get enough sleep, your body will reward you by looking and feeling good.”

Amanda’s most important roles are that as a wife and Mom, and before becoming a personal trainer she enjoyed a 20-year career in corporate public relations. As an exercise lover, Amanda’s hobbies include many physical activities, including jumping rope, yoga, Pilates and painting. “I love to move my body in ways that compliment my strengths and age, and loving my body for what it can do, not disliking it for what it can’t do.” She is on Instagram at amanda_malcolm_cpt . MUSCLE IMBALANCE CORRECTION

Correcting muscle imbalances is very important before starting a strength training workout. During our free assessment we check to see what we need to correct to avoid injury and get you feeling better!

WEIGHT TRAINING

Weight training helps not only build muscle and tone but also keeps your metabolism burning calories for an extended period of time. It is a great fat burner workout!

MUSCLE TONING

A toning exercise program will help you develop musculature strength and  definition. If you perform weight-bearing muscle toning exercises, such  as squats and lunges, you will increase bone density, which can help  prevent osteoporosis. Additionally, your toning routine might help you  control your weight, since toned muscles have a relatively high  metabolic rate.
